DEOS Group has introduced "couture" iPod headphone covers adorned with diamonds set in titanium.  The covers, or skins, click in place over standard Apple earphone covers.  The company claims the design team, led by Allison Lee Zeiss, has created a new category in the luxury accessories market.

The diamond-studded line is an offshoot of the company's less-exotic rubber, aluminum and crystal --decorated covers.

Prices for the diamond line start at $1,200 and can go as high as $60,000.  With a purchase of a limited edition pair of covers, (9.50 total carat weight pair), the company will throw in an actual iPod Touch unit.
